About Us

A Lively Irish Pub in Falmouth, Massachusetts

About Liam and Our History

273 Main Street has been home to establishments serving food to the people of Falmouth for almost a century. In the early 1900s, the building was Bowman's Bakery and Confection. In 1948, Herb and Phyllis Riley opened the Townhouse Restaurant and ran the local favorite for almost 50 years. In 1994, Liam and Deborah Maguire became the new owners of the property and established Liam Maguire's Irish Pub and Restaurant. Liam, raised in Castlederg, Co Tyrone, has traveled Europe, Canada, and the United States as a professional entertainer for over thirty years. His rich baritone voice captivates audiences and draws even the most reluctant participant with lively pub songs.

Liam Maguire's Irish Pub

Has successfully strived to bring great food and the best live entertainment to Falmouth's residents and tourists. In Ireland, the pub is the center of the community. It's a place to gather for music, food, and conversation. To celebrate births, weddings, the passing of a loved one. To cheer on the home team and even raise money for those less fortunate. We are confident that once you have been here, you'll definitely be back. Come on in and raise a pint with us or have a proper pot of tea. Remember, there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met.
