273 Main Street has truly stood the test of time, serving the good people of Falmouth for nearly a century. We're talking tradition, folks! Back in the early 1900s, this place was rocking as Bowman's Bakery and Confection, satisfying sweet tooths left and right. Then, along came Herb and Phyllis Riley in 1948, opening the legendary Townhouse Restaurant that kept locals coming back for seconds for almost five decades. And finally, in 1994, our fearless parents, Liam and Deborah, took the reins and transformed this joint into Liam Maguire's Irish Pub and Restaurant.

Ah, Liam. What a character! And yes, he was a real person, folks. Sadly, he passed away on August 2, 2021. But if you ever had the pleasure of visiting our establishment and spotted a man perched on the stage, well, that was none other than Himself. Liam hailed from Castle Derg, Co Tyrone, and boy, did he have stories to tell. From roaming the nooks and crannies of Europe to trekking across Canada and the United States, he aimed to charm even the most reluctant souls with the lively pub songs he grew up belting out.

You see, in Ireland, the pub is the beating heart of the community. It's where folks gather for toe-tapping music, delicious food, and lively banter. It's where we celebrate the joys of life, from births to weddings, and where we come together to cheer on our beloved home team. But it's also a place where we lend a helping hand to those in need, raising funds for the less fortunate, and a place to honor the memory of those who've left us. And right here, at Liam Maguire's Irish Pub and Restaurant, we've strived not only to serve up fantastic grub and the best live entertainment for the fine folks of Falmouth but also to recreate the cozy ambiance of the pubs back home in Ireland.
